Hidden Cove Orchard, located along Big Fish Lake in central Minnesota, is more than an off-the-beaten-path location to purchase apples. It’s a full fall experience. A visit to our Minnesota apple orchard will bring back memories of childhood days gone by.
Our orchard layout – similar to a park-like setting – allows you to easily stroll amongst our many apple trees, each bursting with beautiful fall colors, blooming flowers, and delicious red, yellow and green apples. At Hidden Cove Orchard you and your family will be able to freely explore nature at its finest, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of fall.
More than a traditional apple orchard, at Hidden Cove we offer something for everyone. Located minutes from St. John's University and only a half hour from St. Cloud, you can find us on 271st Street right off County Road 50 between the communities Cold Spring and Avon, Minnesota. Our offerings include pre-picked apples along with a gift shop stuffed with seasonal food items and holiday décor.
Operated by apple-enthusiasts Gary Menke and Dave Spoden, you’ll be sure to see them around when you stop in. They, along with our other staff members, can assist you with finding the right apple varieties for your needs – and can provide helpful storage tips as well as tasty recipe ideas.
